OK; I read through the German last night and this morning and I love it; the translation is so ... beautiful. Many parts of the German read better than the original English.

What amazes me the most is that your German still manages to keep the same cadence as my English; where I have active verbs, you have active verbs; where I have passive verbs, you have passive verbs; where I insert an appositive, you insert a corresponding appositive, etc.
You've obviously done a lot of English translation work ...
