Design

I studied typesetter and polygraphic engineer (Drucktechniker) and am particularly experienced in layout and efficient production of magazines. Take jobbing work like brochures and business stationery for granted. I made also some books, e.g. course and congress documentation, amongst others. Musical typesetting is my special delight as an amateur musician.

I use Adobe InDesign for most layout projects; for books I like TeX (a command-based open source typesetting system); for musical typesetting I swear by GNU LilyPond.

Early I also got into web design, where I especially mind clear structure and clean code – since my own design is first geared to function, I enjoy to implement designs of my customers or external designers.
